ACLS
Quality ACLS Training in Southeast Michigan
You should take our Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training course if you are a health care professional who has to manage cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies at your workplace. This course is especially useful for physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who work in emergency response.
Up-to-date course materials
Our ACLS training course is updated with the 2015 CPR and ECC guidelines and teaches you the foundations of lifesaving Basic Life Support (BLS) skills. Because this is an advanced course, we recommend that you take our BLS training course prior to this one. You’ll learn not only practical knowledge to save people’s lives, but also how to work effectively in a team.
What our ACLS training course covers
During the ACLS training course here at Downriver Health Education, you will learn:
- Basic life support skills, including the use of an AED
- How to recognize and manage respiratory, cardiac, and peri-arrest conditions
- Management of Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS) and strokes
- How to work effectively as a member of a resuscitation team
How our ACLS training courses are taught
ACLS training can be delivered through a combination of two methods: in-class training for the cognitive and psychomotor components and e-learning at home on your own schedule. With e-learning, you’ll have a hands-on session, as well.
